Is kickboxing dangerous for children? And does it give you a black eye?

Sports lessons for children are always adapted to the age of those children. So the classes are not dangerous for kickboxing either. It's called martial arts, but it's about control and technique, not about kicking as fast and as hard as possible or anything.

As children progress in the sport, there will indeed sometimes be bruises, yes. They will then inflict it on someone else. That is part of it and is not a bad thing.

I don't expect a black eye so soon, but it is possible. But it's lesson, not a jungle where everything is allowed. The teacher monitors that the students apply the rules and that no accidents happen.
